- About Me:
- Primary practice is as clinician educator for Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, the public hospital in Silicon Valley. Have been a hospice medical director for several years. Board-certified in internal medicine, geriatrics, palliative care, occupational and environmental medicine.
- Special Interests:
- Have gone on medical missions in Tibet and India. Completing a chaplaincy training program at The Chaplaincy Institute for Art and Interfaith Ministry. Plan to do formal palliative care fellowship at San Diego Hospice 2009. Interested in issues of spirituality in medicine.
- Current Projects:
- Have joined junior faculty for the Upaya Being with Dying program. Probably will do clinical pastoral education unit in next year.
